The Legacy Project
Death. It's a fact of life, but a subject that causes great discomfort for many, especially those experiencing it at the time. But your friends at The Toledo Rep have designed a remedy to help calm your uneasiness as you contemplate your own mortality.
Has the thought ever occurred to you, "Hey, I'd really love to leave most of my fortune to the good people at The Toledo Repertoire Theatre as my way of saying 'thanks' for the years of outstanding live entertainment they've provided me, my family, and my friends, but the trouble is I don't know the first thing as to how to go about it"? Aside from that being an unusually cumbersome sentence, I think we might be able to help.
We call it The Legacy Project. The fact that you're reading this proves that you have an interest in our efforts here at the 10th Street Theatre. Odds are you've attended a number of fine performances over the years, and at some point you've probably made a generous contribution on our behalf.
Having been here you can see firsthand that… 1) we're making significant improvements to the property, and… 2) we need to make many more significant improvements to the property. And all the grants available, while very helpful to our efforts, will not be enough to cover all of our improvement expenses. And that's where you can help, even long after you've "exited stage right," as they say in the business.
If you're interested in learning specifics, I would invite you to contact me here at the theatre (email@example.com or 419-243-9277), and we'll set up a time to meet for lunch -- on us! (We might even let you supersize your meal.)
In all sincerity, thank you so much for any serious consideration you're giving to being part of The Legacy Project. I look forward to speaking with you at your convenience.
