Calling All Artists

The Rep is looking for an artist! As we prepare to announce our 2012-2013 80th Anniversary season we need to find an artist who possesses that special flair to create a series of publicity posters and general artwork for our shows and brochures. If you think you’ve got that unique touch we’re looking for then please send us a sample of your work.

Choose any two titles from the shows listed below (or two of your choosing) and include all the text that we have listed below the titles for your sample pieces. Please also remember to include the author’s name. We hope to announce our season near the end of March, so deadline for artwork submissions is February 1st. You can email your samples to sburnette@toledorep.org, or snail mail at Steve Burnette, Toledo Rep, 16 10th Street, Toledo OH 43604.

The artist selected will be asked to provide the poster artwork for no less than 5 Main Stage Productions, 3 Special Events, 3 Edgy Rep Readings, and some brochure artwork.

A small stipend will be offered as well as a pair of season tickets to the entire season, credit in the seasonal program, and an eighth-page ad in our seasonal program for your own use. The person chosen will be contacted by phone on February 9th, so please include the best phone number with which we can reach you.

If submitting via email please send it as a pdf file that could accommodate a poster in the size range of anywhere between 12-16 inches in width by 22-36 inches in height.
